Insulation Tubes FlexTherm Self-Seal
FlexTherm double seal insulation is comprised of a pre-slit tube with a factory-applied, pressure-sensitive, modified-acrylic adhesive with scrim reinforcement on the seam surface and a flexible PVC overlap tapewith acrylic adhesive for doubled seam security. It is available in wall thicknesses of 1/2” and 1”, in sizes ranging from 3/8” CTS to 2-5/8” inner diameter. The closed-cell structure of FlexTherm pipe insulationeffectively retards the flow of moisture vapor and is considered a low transmittance vapor retarder.
FlexTherm is recommended for applications ranging from -70°F to 200°F (-57°C to 93°C)

FlexTherm double seal elastomeric closed-cell foam insulation is used in residential projects to prevent heat loss on hot water plumbing and protect pipes from condensation on cold water plumbing. Thedouble seal system reduces installation time and ensures the system has a strong, durable seal.
APPLICATIONS:
FlexTherm can be used in indoor and outdoor applications. For most indoor applications, FlexTherm needs no additional protection, however, additional vapor barrier protection may be necessary for FlexTherm wheninstalled on low temperature surfaces that are exposed to continuous high humidity. For optimum performance, outdoor applications require 374 protective coating or other recommended protective coasting, cladding orjacketing.
INSTALLATION:
FlexTherm can be easily cut with a knife and will bend to the radius of the pipe. When installing FlexTherm on ductwork and equipment, contact adhesive should cover 100% of the sheet with an approved contact adhesive.All seams and butt joints should be sealed properly.
