Flojet Water Booster 2840 SeriesWater Boosting can be necessary either in areas of poor water pressure or where there can be many machines demanding water and therefore water pressure can fluctuate. If water pressure does fluctuate it can affect the drink BRIX value and therefore can directly affect taste. The Flojet 2840 Series Booster Systems are designed toprovide a constant water pressure of 0 to 40 PSI (0.7 to 2.7 bar) and a maximum flow rate of 4.5 GPM at 10 psi (0.7 bar). The pump is fully automatic, with built-in inlet strainer, pressure switch, andcheck valve, and supplies smooth flow from a trickle to full flow. Typical uses include applications where available water pressure is very low, and fluctuates widely. Easy installation requires onlythat the water lines be connected, and the power cord plugged in.
