A Compression x Male Pipe Thread (MPT) straight connector is a brass plumbing fitting used to join a tube or pipe (via the compression end) to a female-threaded fitting or valve (via the MPT end).
One end features a compression fitting (nut and sleeve/ferrule) that tightens onto flexible or semi-rigid tubing, while the other features standardized male pipe threads.
