Valuetrex offers sediment filters to match practically any water filtration system's specs. Sediment filters are utilized in reverse osmosis and filtering systems, and they should always be used before UV filters. If a sediment filter isn't utilized as a pre-filter for a UV system, bacteria and other pollutants might "piggyback" on the sediment in the water, reducing the UV's effectiveness.
