Thermowell Weldless Threaded 1/2" NPT x 4" 304SS

A thermowell is a critical piece of homebrewing hardware designed to protect your brew thermometer probe or electronic temperature sensor while letting you get an accurate, core temperature reading of your liquid.
Because the metal tube quickly conducts heat, you get precise readings without the sensor ever touching the liquid or risking contamination.
These are ideal for thin-walled vessels like stainless steel kettles, hot liquor tanks, or basic fermenters. They require you to drill or punch a hole (typically 17mm to 22mm) into the side of the pot. They lock tight using heavy-duty silicone O-rings and stainless steel locknuts to prevent leaks.
A thermowell provides protection for your thermometer probe within your kettle while still allowing an accurate temperature read. Fits into a 1/2" coupling on the outside of your kettle while allowing a 1/2 MPT thermometer to thread into the Female pipe thread on the outside.
Will Work with Thermometers up to 3" in length.
