The 1/2-inch Hose Barb x 1/4-inch MPT (Male Pipe Thread) 90-Degree Forged Brass Elbow (part # HE1-8B) is a compact plumbing and fluid transfer fitting designed to redirect a line at a tight right angle. Its forged brass construction provides significantly higher strength, impact resistance, and maximum pressure handling compared to standard cast brass fittings. This configuration features a 1/2-inch barbed end to securely grip the inner diameter (ID) of a flexible hose and a 1/4-inch male NPT/MPT end to thread directly into a fixed port.
