The Omnipure K5628CC is a high-performance 12" x 2.5" Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) inline water filter featuring a 3/8" Female National Pipe Thread (FNPT/FPT) connection. Part of Omnipure’s renowned K-Series, this cartridge utilizes acid-washed coconut shell carbon to remove more than 95% of chlorine, bad taste, and odor from municipal drinking water.
Because it operates as a self-contained inline filter requiring no extra housing, it is frequently used as a polishing or pre-filter for: Commercial beverage and coffee brewing equipment, Under-the-counter drinking water systems, Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems, Refrigerator water dispensers and ice makers.
