Oetiker Clamps All Groups

Don't trust anything but the original Oetiker Clamp, the only clamp we offer since 1995!
How to Determine the right clamp for your hose;
- Determine OD of your Hose or Tube with fitting inserted.
- Find the oetiker clamp that your Hose or Tube lands about in the middle of the clamps size range
- ie. The Kuriyama Reinforced Bevlex Plus 180-08100 Hose has a 1/2'' (.510) i.d. x .740" inch o.d.'' uses the factory recommended 19.8 clamp whose size range is .654" - .780" inch
- Suitable for EPDM Rubber Hose, Plastic Tubing & Hose, Electrical Cable, High-Vibration Equipment Hoses
- Tamper-proof durable seal Ideal for air and fluid lines
- Specially de-burred edges reduce the risk of damage to the part being clamped and Tampering is visible
- Oetiker Factory Distributor Since 1995

Oetiker clamps, also known as ear clamps or pinch clamps, are specialized hose-fastening devices invented by Hans Oetiker in 1951. They feature a smooth, continuous metal band with one or two loop-like "ears" that are mechanically squeezed to provide a permanent, tamper-resistant seal. Unlike traditional worm-drive screw clamps, they lack slots or threads and do not back off under vibration, making them a preferred solution across automotive drivetrain (CV boots), plumbing (PEX), draft beer and beverage lines, aviation, OHV, UTV, Marine, hydraulic, pneumatic, and Irrigation industries to name a few.
Oetiker invented the StepLess® ear clamp in 1979. The ear clamp’s special design eliminates steps and/or overlaps on the inner circumference of the clamp for a 360° leak-free seal. Because the tongue resides in a groove, the “tongue-in-groove” feature exerts pressure on the assembled parts over 360°, enabling the clamp to apply a continuous radial force completely around the connection’s diameter.
Oetiker 167 Series StepLess® Ear Clamps are premium, single-ear stainless steel fasteners designed to provide a leak-free, 360-degree uniform seal around hoses and tubing.

The following applies as a guideline: Always measure the exact outside diameter (O.D.) of your hose after it has been pushed completely onto the mating fitting or barb. Select a clamp size where your final O.D. falls directly toward the middle of the clamp's listed size range.
How to Install
These clamps can be easily installed using Oetiker Hand Installation Pincers (HIP) some of which are linked below. The HIP tools have been designed especially for pinching ear clamps quickly and easily.
Oetiker HIP Compound Action, Standard Jaw Pincer, Item No. 14100386
Oetiker HIP Compound Action Side Jaw Pincer, Item No. 14100498
Oetiker HIP Single Action Standard Jaw Pincer, Item No. 14100396
How to Remove an Oetiker Clamp
Ear clamps can be easily removed using Oetiker’s hand clamp cutter (HCC). The HCC tool is designed to safely remove ear clamps.

Oetiker 167 Series Features;
- 360° StepLess®: uniform 360° compression and uniform surface pressure
- Narrow band: concentrates transmission of clamping force, less weight
- Clamp ear: compensates for component tolerances, adjustable surface pressure
- Dimple: increases clamping force, spring-effect compensates for changes in diameter due to thermal expansion
- Specially formed strip edges: reduced risk of damage to parts being clamped
- Stainless Steel, Material no. 1.4301/UNS S30400
Oetiker 155 Series Key Technical Features
- Mechanical Interlock Connection: Provides a strong, secure hold and allows the use of pre-coated materials without damaging the finish.
- Single-Ear Design with Dimple: The molded indentation (dimple) on the ear actively increases the overall clamping force. The spring-like effect of the ear geometry also helps compensate for small component size changes caused by thermal expansion or contraction.
- Burr-Free Strip Edges: Specially formed band edges reduce the risk of cutting, slicing, or otherwise damaging the hose or tubing being clamped.
- Compact Band Dimensions: Built with a lightweight, economical, and narrow 7.0 mm band width and a thickness of 0.6 mm.
- Visual Verification: The ear visibly and permanently deforms during the crimping process, providing a quick visual confirmation of a proper, high-torque seal.
