Watts Series SD-3 Dual Check Valves with Atmospheric Port & Strainer for Carbonated Beverage Machines prevent the reverse flow of polluted water, such as carbon dioxide gas and carbonated water, from entering into the potable water supply due to back pressure backflow. It consists of stainless steel body construction with internal rubber components and is designed for continuous or intermittent pressure applications. Series SD-3 has an atmospheric port that provides visual indication of failure of the second check and a wye pattern strainer. Series SD-3 is available in a variety of models and is ideal for use on post-mix carbonated beverage equipment and dispensing equipment for tea and coffee. Maximum Working Pressure: 150psi (10 bar).All materials in contact with the potable water are in compliance with the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act, Public Law 93-523, National Interim Primary Drinking Water Regulations.
