The advantage to a Cartridge Style Filter is Higher Flow Rates, Higher Media Capacities, and longer life for those conditions.
Remember, algae and bacteria can piggyback on Sediment and old filters, so regularly changing your filters is important. It's better to have no filter system at all, than a derelict system that is harboring mass quantities of harmful algae and bacteria.

Available in a variety of colors and are made to house 2.5” diameter cartridges. Most 9 7/8” and 10” cartridges fit easily and caps are available in 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2” and 3/4” female NPT ports.
Ideal for typical applications as pre and post-filtration for RO systems, under sink filters, countertop systems, ice machines, food service and other applications.
Pressure relief (PR) buttons available for 1/2” and 1/4” port housings.
