Q: Can I adjust the pressure output on the Flojet 01750300C?

A: No. This is a fixed inline regulator that is factory-set exactly to 50 PSI. If your system requires a different pressure setting, Flojet manufactures alternative units pre-set to 15, 30, or 80 PSI.

Q: Why doesn't this unit include fittings?

A: Flojet supplies the 01750300C as a "base body only" component so technicians can customize it to their exact setup. It features universal 1/2" FPT ports, allowing you to attach whatever plastic barb sizes your specific beverage hose line requires.

Q: Can I use brass or stainless steel NPT fittings with this regulator?

A: No. It is highly recommended to use plastic fittings only. Hard metal threads easily cross-thread or over-expand the internal plastic composite mapping of the regulator body, causing fine hairline fractures and leaks.

Q: How often should I clean the internal mesh strainer?

A: It depends heavily on local municipal water quality, but checking and rinsing the stainless steel mesh screen every 6 to 12 months (or during routine commercial appliance filter changes) is recommended to prevent flow restriction.
