Gas vs. Liquid Connections;
Ball lock connectors are strictly divided by color and physical dimension to prevent hooking up lines backward:

• Gas In (White or Grey): This connector attaches to the gas inlet post of the keg to supply CO2 pressure. The physical fitting matches the gas post, which features distinct grooves or small notches carved into the hex base.
• Liquid Out (Black): This connector hooks onto the beverage outpost to dispense beer, wine, or carbonated water. It matches the smooth-sided liquid post, which lacks any notching at the base.

Connection Interface Types
When choosing ball lock connectors, select the interface style that matches how you intend to route your tubing:

• Barbed Fittings: Features an integrated hose barb molded directly to the plastic or metal body. Tubing pushes directly onto the barb and must be tightly secured with an Oetiker or worm-gear hose clamp.
