Female Flare x MPT Brass Adapter U5
A brass Female Flare x MPT (Male Pipe Thread) adapter is a plumbing and industrial fitting designed to transition a male flare connection to a female national pipe thread (FPT) port. The female flare side features standard straight threads with an internal cone designed to crush tightly against a 45-degree flared tube. The MPT side utilizes tapered threads that seal via thread compression. These adapters are highly valued for their ability to be repeatedly disassembled and reassembled without degrading the structural seal.
